Details: Looking for a fun and educational activity for the school holidays? This 3 hour children's fishing session at Orchard Lakes in the New Forest is the perfect introduction to angling. Suitable for beginners and those with some experience, children aged 10 and over will learn essential skills including casting, baiting hooks, fish identification and safe fish handling, all in a friendly group of up to 10. All equipment is provided, so they simply need to come dressed for the outdoors.
While the children enjoy their session, parents and carers are welcome to join in, relax with refreshments in the on-site café, or explore the surrounding woodland. All fish are carefully returned to the lake after being caught.
Please note that this experience is for children aged 10 and over, and age will be checked on arrival.
