The Portsmouth Distillery is a Rum distillery that also makes award winning Gins. The main botanicals for Fort Gin grow at their home at 18th Century Fort Cumberland, surrounded by the sea and centuries of naval history - Gorse Flower, Elderflower and Sea Radish. Tudor GIn is made with botanicals that they know for a fact would have been on board the Mary Rose when she sank in 1545 - Dandelion, Hazelnut, Hemp Seed and Cherry. A generous donation for every bottle sold goes back to the Mary Rose Trust. They also have a Cherry Tudor Gin, with the cherry ramped up to 11%, but with only 2% sugar

Wessex Spirits started life as Test Valley Gin back in 2017. As a former English teacher Kate was very good at drinking gin, so the leap to making it wasn't too huge! Inspired by her mum's sloe gin she started handcrafting gin in a tiny annexe in her grandad's garden. A year later she moved to a tiny commercial premises in Andover where she then opened a tasting room. In 2021 Kate moved Wessex Gin to its current home - a 17th Century Coaching Inn in the heart of Andover where she still handcrafts all the gin herself with love, using natural ingredients - no sugar, colours, flavourings or nasties. The premises also hosts a beautiful and quirky gin bar and upstairs tasting rooms for gin tasting, whisky tasting and cocktail masterclasses. Kate continues to make her own branded gins, but she specialises in small batch bespoke gins and a monthly subscription with a difference!

Hogmoor Distillery is a small family (mum, daughter & son-in-law) run distillery making hand crafted small craft bottles for your enjoyment. They opened their doors in 2019 in Bordon, Hampshire and produce a host of interesting gins including - Nuthatch, London Dry, True Colours, Mystic Shimmer, Rhubarb and Custard and Surrey Heath, as well as 3 Rums - Spiced Rum, Tiki Tourist and Banana and Caramel. 

They open their bar every Friday between 2 and 9.30pm, with a food truck in attendance every week and, on some weeks, activities to enjoy. They always have their firepit going, so toasted marshmallows are on the menu!

Jane first discovered her love of gin on holiday in Majorca in 2017 which led to the exciting step of converting a horse trailer into The Firsty Foal mobile bar and taking her passion on the road. After two years of trading as a bar, The Firsty Foal needed a change of direction and During Covid-19 the business diversified as Jane ran a successful e-commerce shop selling Gin Tastings in kit form. Business needs kept changing and in 2022 Jane created her own Hampshire Hare Gin supporting The Murray Parish Trust and their fundraising for that year.

These days Jane has returned to her original passion which is hosting Gin Tastings for private or corporate events. Deliciously boozy, fun and relaxed…her gin tasting experiences can be enjoyed in the comfort of your own home, garden, hotel or hired venue. Perfect for an intimate group of 6 friends or a room of 40! She will come out to your chosen venue and deliver a hosted tasting on a pre-arranged theme - Hampshire Gins still remains her best seller!
