Favourite Hampshire Pubs

Fancy a pie and a pint? Perhaps a Pinot Noir and a bowl of bubbling boeuf bourguignon? Nothing beats a deliciously cooked hot meal after a hard day of fun. Perhaps you’re looking for something to top off that perfect first date? Or the rabble need feeding after a day spent at one of our family Experiences...

Luckily Hampshire is teeming with pubs to suit any party and taste (even the pickier eaters!). Here are our Top 4 for this Autumn.

The Fox Crawley, nr Winchester - perfect for a family occasion

Perfectly situated within 5 minutes drive of Winchester, The Fox Crawley is nestled in the heart of the gorgeous village of Crawley. Owner Lenny Carr has worked hard to ensure their menu is bursting with local produce and their pumps are filled with local brewers.

We recommend: Luxury Fish Pie | £18 or The Fox Vegan Burger | £14

The Bugle Inn, Twyford - perfect for meeting with friends

The sister pub to The Fox Crawley, this is also our local pub at Experience Hampshire HQ so we can adequately vouch for it’s delicious menu and local craft beer and cider!

The Greyhound on the Test, Stockbridge - perfect for couples

In the quaint village of Stockbridge sits one of our favourite spots for a well-earned dinner. Managed by Lucy and Alex Lewis have done an impeccable job of creating a laid back but high-end dining experience. The Greyhound is also a fellow member of Hampshire Fare.

We recommended: (Starter) Stockbridge Mushroom Crumpet, Parmesan, Red Onion, Sage, Garlic | £8 or (Starter) Pulled Wiltshire Pork Ravioli, Pumpkin, Black Treacle, Chorizo | £9.00
