Is everything that is included in the Classic and the Afternoon Tea hamper freshly-made and, if so, where abouts is everything brought together to be packed?

Yes, everything is freshly made at our WILDS Events catering facility. It’s in beautiful rural Hampshire, just outside Stockbridge, and that’s where all the magic happens.

How many of the ingredients that you use are sourced here in Hampshire? Can you give some examples?

We have fantastic relationships with a lot of suppliers in our area, so this helps us to secure some of the best produce in Hampshire. Some examples include beautifully peppery Watercress from Abbots Ann, fantastic fruit and vegetables from Kenyons in Andover and wonderful meat from John Robinson Butchers just down the road here in Stockbridge.

If hampers are ordered via the Experience Hampshire website, how will customers coordinate a delivery date and time?

It’s simple – they buy the voucher through Experience Hampshire, then simply give us a call or drop us an email and we’ll organise the hamper and delivery.

How have these hampers been used in the past? Do you have any examples of really unusual events that they have been used for?

Our hampers can be used almost anywhere, we’ve had people take them rock climbing, to Goodwood Festival of Speed, Wimbledon and pretty much anywhere you could think.

How to do you keep things cool and fresh in the hampers? Although we say hampers, I believe that you pack everything in a ‘cooler type bag’ that the customers gets to keep?

We have a fabulous Kingfisher Hamper cool bag which is yours to keep after you finish your picnic, so no returns are needed. There are also cool packs within the hampers to keep everything inside nice and cool until you’re ready to tuck in.

As everything is made fresh, our picnics are to be enjoyed on the day you get them – so they are at their very best.

We love the fact that you include free delivery with 20 miles of Stockbridge! Looking at a map, that includes Andover, Winchester, Southampton, the east of the New Forest and almost up to Basingstoke. Do you use your own team to deliver?

Yes, Kingfisher Hampers is part of the WILDS & Co. Group, which includes a variety of other businesses such as WILDS Events & Management, Wine Utopia and The Greyhound on the Test. We regularly deliver wine and food for events, so we’ve got a great delivery network to allow us to work all around the local area.
